Quick tip:

Toss in a micro-fiber hand towel in the wash with your laundry.
(I have some yellow ones that came from Sam's a few years ago.)
Wash & Dry the towel with the load.
When you pull it from the dryer, take it to the sink and wash/rinse it out..
most of the threads will come off of the towel for disposal.

I got to thinking that this might work as those towels seem to attract bit and pieces of any and everything.
Surprisingly, it picks up most of all the errant threads that I'd find when folding clothes.

Granted, it doesn't catch EVERY thread, but man.. what a difference it's made for me.

I'm gonna try it, too! Those threads & dog fur from my short haired dogs cause alot of probs in the washer drain!
