Hi, I think what you are doing is great. I like the serenity prayer, theme. You could just make a templet of the arches, and have the arches whatever color you want, then the background could be anything, each arch a different color, you could buy used 100o/o percent cotton t shirts, or other clothing that had images on them you could cut out and use

I thought if I could find suitable Panels I could use them as the center and put quilt squares around it with a solid border.
I went to Joanne's the only place to buy fabric around here. What a disappointment. No Panels, no fabric with angels or peace doves.
Any ideas would be appreciated . Unfortunitly cost has to be considered . So if you have any ideas who sells panels, or suitable fabric Would love your ideas.
I have a embroidery machine BUT my machine doesn't do larger designs its a cheapie but a goody LOL!!.
I plan to enlarge a peace Dove our Hospice uses and applicate a large panel for one of the quilts. If it looks ok will make a couple with squares surrounding it. what do you Think.
PLEASE be honest. I want them to bring peace to the families
THANKS
Debbie

I have a friend that is going to drop off a panel tomorrow morning and I will post a picture of it, if you interested in it

Also consider patriotic themed panels for veterans.

I haven't read all of the post so it has most likely been mentioned but I get panels on etsy as well as ebay often for just a few bucks each.

Debbie,
PM me your address as I have a panel called Amazing Grace I will send you to complete for your hospice. A very dear friend of mine lost his battle with cancer last year and the hospice was such a peaceful & caring place for his family and friends to spend his last days. Thank you for your time and caring of all that spend their last days in hospice.
