Has anyone read any of these? Are they as good as the Elm Creek books?

I like them, but I think they fall more into the cozy mystery category.

I agree, more mystery than quilting. I have tried other authors but the Elm Creek books seem to be the best for quilting lore.

NOT even in the same category as Elm CReek, but better stories....
I have them all, from both authors and highly recommend them!
You can often find the entire series offered on ebay for a great price!

I like Earlene Fowler, she's a good writer and it's one series that I like to read again. I have one bookcase with books I love to read over, very few writers though, some of them are very old and even from the 1920s.

Really enjoyed both but like the Elm Creek better because it is more into quilting. You can't go wrong with either. Its nice if you can read them in sequence.
