I have hand cross stitched over 40 quilts for my grandchildren. I have five more that need to be hand stitched to the backings. I use to have a church group do this for me. They are no longer doing quilts. Do you know anyone in the TN area that would be willing to do them? If so how much do they charge and can they contact me.

We have just returned from the Lawrence County, TN. In Ethridge, they have many Amish hand quilters. They did beautiful work. The only help I can be is to suggest you contact the Amish Welcome Center in Ethridge, if this is close to you. I have their phone number if you want it. Hope you find someone soon. GOOD LUCK

Also, in Alabama we have several Senior Citizen Centers that do hand quilting for the public. Also, check with your fabric stores. They usually have contacts for the public.
