Default Which part of the process do you enjoy the most?

I love the piecing part. When the top is done, it languishes in the closet. But when I finally get one quilted, I enjoy sewing the binding on.
What part do you enjoy the most?

I think my favorite part is buying the fabrics!! I too have about four or five quilt tops "languishing" in the closet waiting to be quilted. I may try and NOT start another quilt project until I at least quilt one of them.

Me, too! I have several quilts in various states that I work on when the right mood strikes. About the only thing I don't like is sandwiching.

I love machine sewing appliqué and FM quilting.

I HATE hand sewing of any kind but do sew binding on quilts (but not wall-hangings - machine). I also hate rotary cutting, but not appliqué shapes.

for me it is the total PROCESS...from designing, to piecing, quilting and binding- the process of creating- the end result is a bonus (or not) but the process of creation is what keeps me going

I think it's the total process for me too. I love putting the fabrics together, enjoy the piecing, but I really enjoy the FMQ.

I enjoy most of it. The 2 things I really hate are the cutting and binding.

It's fun to put the fabrics together and create the blocks. That's probably my favorite part.
Honestly enjoy hand sewing the binding... cause I know it's done!

I love to process of piecing. I enjoy puzzles so I look at this more as a puzzle... Putting different fabrics together to make something totally new, and hopefully pretty!
