I have boxes of fabric Grandma gave me and I'm trying to find the right pattern. I want something that will allow me to use many of the pieces since some of them are quite old. I thought maybe Grandmother Fan would be a good choice. Looking forward to hearing your ideas. By the way....I love this group!!

Grandmother's Fan is a great idea. You could also do a Grandmother's Flower Garden. Good luck :D

i think any pattern that has "gramma" in the title would be spot on!

especially since the fabrics are from her

Find one that is paper pieced. It would be easy to turn that on into pp-ing (Grandmothers Fan).

I've never paper pieced. I found a template for Grandmother Fan. Would it be better to paper piece or use the template?

Any old fashion quilt pattern would be nice. The fan is real nice.
