I am an (almost) 40 year old Zelda freak!
Although my Zelda days are over for a while - not much gaming time to be had with a 2 year old and one on the way.... Zelda isn't the kind of game you can just sneak in a few minutes here or there. Definitely an hour upon hour all consuming sort of thing!

someday I shall return though!

My boyfriend got us a Wii system for Christmas and have been playing that a bit. But I think if I had to choose a favourite game it would be Warcraft. I"m not a big gamer, but I did like my Warcraft!! :)

I'm not a big gamer myself, there's just something so appealing about Zelda that just got me - a fun story line, lots of adventure, puzzles, lack of gore and blood!

I'm really getting into the Wii though... The fact that you have to stand up and do various movements like playing bowling and golf is great and keeps you active!! YOu are exercising more than your thumbs!!!

True. Unfortunatly, I found that out the hard way. No I didn't whack anyone in the face with the Wii remote. But one of my friends have a Wii and one time I stayed over at their place and while they were asleep I was playing Sonic. I played it for so long that I strained my arm...it was sore for a couple of days.

Then I beat the Sonic game before he did (along with his girlfriend's game, "Cooking Mama")...they were mad that I beat their games before they did, but I got aknowledgement of being the best gamer in the group. But my other friend won't let me near any of his Wii games when I stay over and I think conquering Sonic and Cooking Mama might have something to do with it..."You're not playing Metroid Prime until I beat it!"...at least he lets me try to help out when he plays Metroid when I'm over. lol.

Almost 21 year old Zelda freak here (my birthday is in about three weeks). Even more so now that Hot Topic sells more video game related clothes. Actually, right now I'm wearing a Zelda: Twilight Princess thermal shirt and a Zelda hoodie with the Hylian shield on the front (I love my hoodie!), but I'm mainly wearing them because I'm freezing (not the best heating system in the world...it works, but its old and sometimes doesn't distribute heat well through the house). Link keeps me toasty warm. :-)

Yeah, you need an hour or so to play Zelda, espessily if you're playing the ones for the original Nintendo. I definatly need an hour or so to get anywhere...mostly because I loose all my lives trying to get to where ever I need to go and have to start over from someplace, which is always in the middle of the map and miles away from where you need to go. At least I keep the items I got before I died. But I quit playing Adventure of Link for now because my death rate is going into the 50's. You think that with me growing up on Nintendo that old school Zelda would be easier to play.

Well, I suppose dying trying to get somewhere is better than dying because you decided to torture one chicken and then they all came after you. Poultry abuse has been met with revenge.

I would definitely think this would come under exercise rather than strain!!!

Zelda theme clothes sound like fun. My husband would just shake his head about my playing habits ~ especially if he would go to work while I was playing and then come home and ooops! still playing! He'd still buy me the new games when they came out though!

Speaking of Zelda clothes.........I made my own little green tunic and hat. In 2005, I dropped out of high school (don't worry, I went back), left town, and then came back just in time for my three of my friends' graduation (the two guys who wont let me anywhere near their Wii's now and Nick). One of them (also a Zelda fan...not as big of one as I am though) was having a little get together after the ceremony so the night before I bought two green T-shirts and made Link's costume and put it on underneath my clothes. When we got to his house (which is like in the middle of nowhere) I took off the button of shirt I was wearing over it, put on the hat, and ran around his yard, shouting and getting piggy back rides from Nick (who I called "Epona"). They loved it! They also said I sounded like Link from the Wind Waker when I shouted.

...taking "Zelda fan" to a whole new level.
