Default Can you tell it's a tree??

I'm making this tree pattern from MSQ, and desided to use a different background for a change, can you see the tree in it? Thank you.

appears to be a tree to me. Your background fabric is so pretty and shows off your green tree

Thank you my Granddaughter picked it out since it's for her, they used a yellow star I was thinking silver? What do you think??

Silver would be pretty. Or a print with silver metallic.

A yellow star will immediately say Christmas tree. Looks like a great pattern. I like the polka dot background.

Yes, it looks great, I like the background much better than a plain while or ivory color.

Unless you are going for abstract, why not appliqué a small brown rectangle on the bottom for the trunk?
