Default Hexagon Die or Punch - 1 1/4" sides and 1 1/2" sides with and w/o seam allowance

I am looking for a hexagon die or punch to cut EPP papers that can be used for hexagons with 1 1/4" finished sides and 1 1/2" finished sides. Fiskars has a punch but not for this size and Fiskars measures hexagons by the point to point measurement not the length of the side.

I also looking for a hexagon die to cut fabrics that will allow me to hand piece (not EPP) hexagons that finish at 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" for the finished side length. I have a Sizzix cutter and the Sizzix hexagons measure the length of each side of the hexagon which is not accurate as a 1/4" seam allowance added to the finished size does not result in the correct size due to the 60 degree angles of the hexagon. The Sizzix hexagon dies are fine for cutting fabric for EPP but not for cutting papers or fabric for hand pieced hexagons. Accuquilt makes a proper hexagon die but only in the 1/2" finished length and the 1" finished length.

Accuquilt's sister company makes custom dies for the same cost of an already made die of the same size. They are Custom Shape Pros. Here's a link: http://www.customshapepros.com/ I think they make dies for different machines.

Another thought is to find someone with a Cricuit or similar system who can program it to cut whatever size you want.

Good Luck to You!

Fiskars is the only hex punch made now that I know of. Use to be several made for scrapbooking and sometimes found on Ebay. Paper Pieces would be the best place to find the exact size you want. https://www.paperpieces.com/
