I am about ready to give up on triangles. Any suggestions on making them easier?

I have been using a 60 degree ruler to make triangles to make a spider web quilt. I can't remember if I line up the squared off noses. I think that I may only use squares in my quilts. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I haven't made a spider web quilt, but I've made several OBW's that used 60 degree triangles. The best way to line them up is to NOT cut off the points. Some of the 60 degree rulers have the sharp point, others have the snub nose. You can also cut the triangles with a regular ruler and leave the points on. Don't give up!

I happen to love my Accuquilt for making half square triangles. If that's not an option, there is an excellent CD by Brenda ? Called Triangulations which will print out any size from 1/2 inch to 7 inches in quarter inch increments. Easy to use.

There is a product called Thangles which makes cuting triangles very easy and fast. Most LQS carry them if not they can order them for you or you can order it from the company.
