Default Product Review

Has there ever been and if not has there ever been any thought about having a "Producr Review" topic?

I am one that reads reviews on practically everything, even fabric. Has this been discussed prior to my joining, or has it tried and failed?

There is a site called www.patternreview.com that has reviews of pattern, machines, books, notions, and other sewing related topics.

One can join for free - there might also be a paid membership that has more perks.

You can put it in the Links & Resources section. I've posted "reviews" (my experience) of products there and have also found wonderful, helpful information about different quilting tools, classes & websites.

I like that idea..... I suppose the only problem that may occur is that everybody will have a different view and review!

That's what would be great about it. Have people go into detail why they do or don't like whatever they are reviewing. And I was thinking reviews from products to fabrics to stores (online and store fronts) to buttons.

I have been diddling with making quilt tops on and off for 3 years so I am still very much a newbie. I'd love to know what things are out there that work or is helpful and also the things not to spend my money on or businesses that have horrible customer service.

Just an idea.

I post a review of all the new items I buy at quilt shows and shops in Links and Resources. I like the idea of a Product Review section.

I also read product reviews! I try to post reviews on fabrics I buy online, but there are not very many fabric reviews out there. It is a little hard to describe fabrics sometimes and why you do or don't like them.

I agree with Geri B. You can do a search on an item to see if there were comments posted by looking in the advance search.
