I too like the second picture,for the same reasons as above. I put a inner border on, my second quilt,a king size, made from scraps.. Every time I make my bed, I'm always making sure its straight,kinda wish I would of left out that inner border! It just kinda frames the bed where it catches the eye if not straight.I'm trying to be easy on myself,because this was my first big quilt.But think I damaged my self to like quilts without boarders.. So, when I looked at your quilt,I was having flash backs. Your quilt is beautiful.

The second one looks like the triangle just extends from the border and everyone will want to know how you pieced that. It is GORGEOUS!

Your quilt is beautiful! What is the name of the pattern? I love the colors you chose and your fabrics really enhance the pattern.

Beautiful quilt and I really like the border just as you have shown. I can not imagine that and inner border would improve your quilt.
