I did not realize until I talked to a very nice lady that does a relay for life that there are other colors for other types of cancer!!! Here is list for you

    Black melanoma
    burgandy multiple melanoma
    Dark blue colon
    emerald green liver or kidney
    gold chilhodd cancer
    gray brain
    lavendar/orchid all cancers or testicular
    light blue prostrate
    lime green lymphoma
    orange leukemia or kidney
    peach uterine
    periwinkle esophageal or stomach
    pink breast
    purple leiomyosarcoma or pancreatic
    teal ovarian
    whit lung
    yellow bladder or sarcoma/bone
burdandy and ivory head and neck
    teal and white cervical
    teal pink and blue thyroid

We discussed making me making lap quilts for each kind of cancer for their walk/run in June in columbia MO Told her she would have to get someone else to do the actual quilting since I am unable to do that)

I have embrpoidery machine and thought about using it to make blocks with ribbons but need a catchy phrase for middle. we were going to leave the back white or muslin so those who are at the event suffering or surviving the specific cancer can sign the back Then the quilts would be auctioned off. Any ideas you may have would be most welcome Thanks (Has to be something easy lol I am not an experienced quilter and have only started and have made about 6 quilts total!! lol) I am going to start with kit I purchased from quiltergirl80 which was for breast cancer awareness. thanks cheryl :-D

Thank you for the list of colors.
I am planning to make a "Memory/In honor of" cancer quilt next year to have on display at my shop (currently home) for friends and customers to write a name on in honor or memory of their loved ones and friends.
I have several names to place on it myself.

I'm designing the quilt with small solid blocks intermixed for people to write on.

    Good luck with your project.

Blank makes a fabric line in teal for for ovarian cancer. I *think* that part of the sales goes to research.

    Good luck with your project
