I'm looking for patterns for place mats. I've looked on several different sites and am just not seeing many patterns for place mats. Has anyone got any suggestions? Thanks so much for your help!!

If you type "placemats" in the search box you will find tons of links like this one:

This is my homemade pattern:

Make any 12.5 inch block. Add top and bottom border of 1.5 inches. Add 2.5 inch side borders.

Now that's what I'm talking about!! Thanks so much, purplemem! That's a big help because I have no problem finding blocks that I like, but wasn't sure how to adapt. I'm still new to this so I'm a little intimidated by improvisation!

So quick and easy. And a great use for those BOMs that never made it into a quilt! Thanks.

I have a ton of them listed on my site.. I like to search and link things and have a pretty good collection so far :D
I'm sure you'll find some great ones in there....

I have these started - but set aside since I began them with a fiend and thought we'd finish them together but she has moved on to other friends it looks like. :'(

I'll finish them up after the holidays. I have too many things that need to get done before the end of the year now... but they're about 1/3 done... they're a ton of piecing but they'll be gorgeous when they're finished!
