Oooh, Cutebuns, I love those purples!!!

I don't know how I've ended up with such ugly fabric in my stash but maybe when it gets put together it won't be so bad. I'm going to have to make a LOT more scrappy quilts to get rid of this stuff.

Here's my fabric.

The house is clean, the fabric is cut, it will be early to bed tonight so I can get up in time to start with the instructions.

Probably a black border - that's not cut yet.

I don't think that fabric is ugly at all, I think it will trun out better than mine. we will have to see what comes of the mystery tomorrow. I had the crazy thought while pressing, I thought it would be cool to see if I could do two at the same time tomorrow, hmmm, nope, not even going to try though the thought is there, maybe if I had help pressing etc, and a typist so that I can chat at the same time, maybe a photgrapher so I can share what I am doing, and wouldn't you know it, DD#1 is gone, and she woul dhave been the best help.

I can't wait to see all your progress, love the fabrics you have all chosen. If you have the time please post your progress occasionally. I completely forgot about this being tomorrow, and I was so excited when I got the email and started this thread. I will have to print it out and put it aside for later. The good thing is I have so much to do I will probably forget and when I get around to it, it will be a mystery again. I am still so preoccupied with the memorial quilt I am trying to make for a co-worker (when I am not laying in bed sick). I don't remember the last time I felt this bad for such a long period of time. I have a few coworkers who said that when they were out sick their doctor told them they had the H1N1 virus, but not sure if they really know.

I hope you feel better soon, that it is all gone and nothing is lingering. I will be trying to post all along the way tomorrow, I have the camera standing by, I hope that others are going to be doing the same, I almost have my pieces cut out, there are always distractions and today was a good one for them. So I am pecking away at it. I am so excited, I can't wait to see what comes out of it.

cutebuns, I hope you get all your cutting done!

b.zan, I think your color choices are good ones!

Maribeth, I hope you feel better soon!

I will try to post as we go, if I am able to keep up!

Can't wait to get started.

I have everything ready, now I just need to tidy up the sewing room, so I won't be distracted by my other projects and have everything I need where it is supposed to be!

Oh, I was not a happy camper with my 9" blocks, I was one block short, but had one 7 1/2" and so I added a strip and trimmed it to make a 9" block! Now I have enough!

cutebuns, the markings not so bad. Put on a good show to watch as you do it. That's what I did and I just finished mine about ten minutes ago.

I have never marked befor, I do hst all the time and I cut mine and then sew, I am not sure what or how they are putting these together so I will have to. It looks like we will be sewing it in two places and then cutting them apart, but I could be wrong. they could be folding them or something else like that as well. Will have to wait and see I guess.
