I have never done a mini or a mystery quilt, so why not? You did say quick and easy right?
Thanks in advance for your work on this!

Hmmm, am I too much of a control freak to play? Well, guess I'll just lurk a while before committing myself! BUT I must say I'm intrigued - and I do have scraps!

I've never done a mystery quilt, but it sounds like fun. I'd like to give this one a try.

I have been trying to figure out if there is a quilting god or something that would come and remove all the scraps you didn't use, but ... no such luck <g>
If you don't finish on time, you will just have to finish it when you get to it.
No quilting police here, either <g> Those of us who have participated will stay tuned to this thread and help you along the way.
That is what friends are for ! <wave>
