Default Please tell me the name of this block

Although I didn't use a pattern, this block is so simple it must have a name already. Can you enlighten me? Thanks!

Kind of looks like one block from the Yellow Brick Road quilt pattern.

Could be a turning 20 block

Thanks. I googled them both. They are similar and yet slightly different. Did I actually invent it? Doubt it!!

It's for the quilt that I'll be sending to Ro for the homeless Vets in NY state. I was able to arrange the blocks to make a pretty cool pattern. I thought the fly fishing fabric was appropriate for a man. I'll post pics when it's all done. I plan 2 borders, blue and white. Then a blue striped back pulled to the front for a binding.

This is actually a great block for groups to make. My on-line charity group made them for a retreat and they all went together beautifully and they made over 75 quilts in a weekend! This designer said she used EQ originally and just called it a Three-Patch Quick Block:

Here she shows lots of layout alternatives (scroll down and see the designs):

Thanks Kathy but mine is still a smidge different!! I have that 3 patch and then I added an additional rectangle spanning the bottom (or top). If memory serves, each block is 12 1/2" square.

I love the link which shows all the ways the blocks can be arranged. I had no idea how I would lay this one out. I just made the blocks, laid them on the floor and moved them around. Hubby actually came up with the arrangement I will using. It's like stairs almost.

My guess is the Turning 20 or Turning 21 block.

Don't know the name, looks easy to make. It would make a fast quilt.

I agree with ManicaQuilter2. It looks like one of the blocks in the Yellow Brick Road Pattern.

No idea on name but it looks as if it would make a few different designs.
