I think it's sad...people are having temper tantrums over the change to "OUR" board....sorry folks...it's NOT "our" board! It belongs to someone else that is graciously providing this place for us to play and exchange ideas, thoughts, and feelings FOR FREE. Someone else is paying the bill for our pleasure, and we are complaining because the gift they give doesn't suit us? They want to throw it back in the owner's faces that their gift is not good enough? How would they feel if someone did that with a quilt they had gifted?

I appreciate this board and all that the "powers that be do". I'll learn to deal with the changes, whether I like them or not, simply because this is where I meet up with like minded friends.

My reaction would be, "Put your big girl panties on and deal with it!"

I totally agree!!!! I had a very hard time last night finding out what to do. Some of the other members posted a few things and that gave me hints for other situations. I feel quite comfortable already even though I have a lot to learn yet.

Anyone who leaves the QB is making a big mistake! This is the best of the best, and WE WILL get used to the new changes. Once it starts to click, things start to roll. I promise!

I like the new format. For example I enjoy the vintage machine section. Before I had to sort through alot of posts to find a particular topic I wanted to read. Now it's broken down into sections so I can go straight to the machine I want to read about.

One negative I've noticed is the site is harder on my eyes. I don't know if its the font or brightness. Something is a bit different.

Think of the boards 'new look' as a challenging quilt we/you want to make!

We study the directions, think on it awhile and then when we think we get it . . . . . Viola!
It was not as hard as we thought, it just took a little time to figure out

I think what has been done is good. I haven't noticed a lot more ads. As for the color of the background, I will just spend little bits of time here, off and on, to avoid headaches.

Nice job on the change.

Change is good! Makes us adapt and use our brains! Took me a little bit to manuever but all it takes is playing around and clicking on things to see what they are!
