Default Potential Class on tshirt quilts

My sister is looking to set up classes for after the holidays at her shop and I want to help her. One thought I've had is to teach something on Tshirt quilts - but I have a question and I'm seeking input from a wide area. Would you be more interested in taking a one day "class" on making a tshirt quilt or would it be more appealing to have "private lessons" where I could individualize the instructions and also the exact makeup of the the quilt?

Just looking for input - but do need to be working on things if I'm going to do something after the holidays.

I would think more people would sign up for a 1-day class. They would probably see it as less expensive than a private lesson. Also, some people may not have enough t-shirts yet, but would come to see how it is done and then save up the shirts.

1 day - that is what I would want to do.

I've never taken any quilt classes but I think I'd be more likely to take a 1 day class. I'd like to know the basics and how to proceed and then I'd want to go home and do it. Private lessons has no appeal to me at all.

I agree...a one day class. But as a previous shop owner, I would give them the option of a second class the following week if needed.

I would think that the success would be for a 1 or even 2 day class. First of all the store would make more money by spending one designated time frame to teach many students and I think that as students go even though it'd be great if we all could have that mentor when we needed them we all can't afford those indiviualized lessons. I've been lucky twice with my favorite teacher where the other student didn't show up for class and I had her attention and learned so much more since it was just us two but I couldn't have afforded a one on one. Also I think that when you have many students each brings their own prior knowlege to the class and that can help others learn little tricks that you may not have thought of or heard of before. I've always learned from some of my fellow classmates.

Start with 1 day class and offer private tutoring ato any of the class members that think they still need additional help.
