Superior Threads and Fil Tec has great prewound bobbins.
I prefer prewounds because no sewing machine will wind a bobbin with even tension or get as much thread as commercially wound bobbins. I like being able to reach for a full bobbin and not have to look for an empty bobbin, or waste time messing with winding them.

I use Filtec magnetic prewound bobbins almost exclusively. They are available from lots of retailers; best price is for a box of 144. They only come in white and black though. I actually only match bobbin color to top thread if I am doing free standing lace that will be seen on both sides. You can make life a lot easier for yourself if you only use one standard color which is what the pro shops do.
If if you are determined to get colored bobbins for embroidery, I second the recommendation for the Superior SuperBob prewounds. I use those in my quilting machine and they are solid performers. They come in only 3 sizes though, so make sure you get the ones that work in your machine.
