Does anyone have a pattern for Jacob's Ladder? I have seen a few pictures of pictures and I want to try to make one of my own but I need a pattern to follow and also yardage if possible. Any help you could give would be great.

Thank you

Quilter's Cache has a Jacob's Ladder block. It's really just a series of 4-patches and half-square triangles. I made a scrappy one with a defined color layout. Sorry can't help with fabric requirements.

I have a pattern that has the fabric requirements if you still need them. Let me know.

Hi EllaBud,

I just wanted to tell you that you were so sweet finding these patterns for Someone in Tx, showing how to do the block with 2, 3 or 4 colors. Job Well Done! I love Jacob's Ladder quilts.

While searching for Jacob's Ladder quilts I came across this thread. There are excellent links here. I'll be getting things together to start graduation quilt for our Jacob. He's a junior now, but it will take me that long to get my act together so I can deliver this graduation quilt on time. Anyone have any ideas for colors. I don't want to use his school colors or anything like that. His school colors are red and white.
