Premium Broadcloth from Fabric.com
#2
I have no personal experience with it, but the website says that it is light weight and suitable for shirting and full skirts. I'm devoted to Kona Solids and it does not sound to me like the Fabric.com broadcloth is as "meaty" as the Kona broadcloth. The regular price of both are the same. I'd just be afraid it would be too thin, at least for my taste.

I love the Symphony broadcloth at Joann's (solids only). It's got good body, great colors that don't fade or wash out, doesn't wrinkle and is reasonably priced and often on sale. It's a cotton/poly blend, but I'm not one of those people who insist on 100% cotton. I'm a hand quilter and I have no trouble stitching it.
