I am trying to show my friend about the Fons and Porter episode that had the rag quilt where they covered up the seam with ric rack. Does anyone have anything similar or have a link to get to the episode. I tried to go on their website but they want you to pay to join their video on demand. Any suggestions or other videos similar to that that you guys know of?

I think that America Sews on PBS had a episode where they cover the seam with a ruffle. America Sews is free to watch.

It wasn't a rag quilt. It was quilt as you go! There are several tutorials online for this method many can be found via google!
