I just purchased some "antique' magazines at a rummage sale.
I didn't realize it when I snatched them up but they are from 1985 and 1989. In perfect condition - even the pages have a hint of tint. Its fun to see that quilting never changes. |
Lucky you. I have some that belonged to my Mom. I keep them and go back to look at them often.

I love to read the stories in the old quilting magazines

Antique? 1985? 1989?

Did we even have rotary cutters in 1985? I don't think so. Better get some template material to use those patterns, lol! I wish we could get some of the vintage Calico's back from that era. Enjoy your new to you magazines. I have saved all of my decorating mags from that era and I'm still glad I have them.

I sold rotary cutters in 1990 and they weren't new. Antique? Vintage? What does that make me?

"Antique", what do you mean, that was only yesterday! Yikes, now I feel really old.
