When I raise and lower the presser foot on my Jamome 6600, it makes a clunking noise just before it reaches the feed dogs. It sounds like something is catching in the lever. I've cleaned everything, checked to make sure all screws are tight, and tried different feet. Nothing helps. This started happening after I had been using the dual feed system ( built in walking foot) for doing the bindings on several hot pot holders. Any ideas how I can rectify this? I don't want to continue sewing if something isn't aligned....this machine is only 2 months old. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If it is only 2 months old, I would take it in for repairs it is under warranty... I wouldn't wait til something worse happens to it :D:D:D

Yes. Double and triple checked that. It seemed that the machine was starting to sound a bit noisy before this happened, with a lot more vibration. I wonder if something is loose inside.

I agree. The shop is open tomorrow so between cleaning the house and finding the perfect Christmas tree, I'm going to take "her" in for a check up.
