Here's a tip for keeping bobbin threads neat. I found at a dollar store some tiny stretchy pony tail holders. Must be about 100 in the little plastic purse. They are just about the size of a bobbin. I wrap one around my bobbins to keep the threads neat, matching up the thread color on the bobbin with the color of pony tail holder. Easy to find the right bobbin color and the thread is all neatly tucked under.

Thank you for doing this!

Awesome! It'll be a frequently visited page that's for sure!

I read some of the tips after posting. Looks like someone already discovered the pony tail holder tip. It works great.
Blessings. |

|
Yay!! What a sweetie you are for doing this. Thank you.
|
thank you. What a great way to quickly find tips. One that I didn't see:
I bought a plastic container made for storing match box cars. A spool of thread fits perfectly in the hole made for the car with room for the matching bobbin. The box is double sided and clear so you can easily see the colors through the lid. |
Cecilia - Thank you! I looked over the page and it is a wonderful reference tool! Fab job!
|
What a huge endeavor - but oh so worthwhile to everybody - thank you so much. I have bookmarked it - but agree it would be super fabulous if we could have it added to the top menu up here - - but I am not pressing my luck - - thank you!

You and Patrice are my heroes - I NEED so many tips.

I had been hearing about pinmores, but didn't understand their concept. I found a link to them, just in case there are others out there in the dark as well. http://www.clotilde.com/detail.html?...source=CQEDOTD That was an aha! moment for me. |
