Ok, I get it but then make fabric in the USA. They use to say years ago it would be expensive to make items here, well, guess what it is there also.
Now that we are on the subject, then why is oil or gas high. Well, let's see Katrina...they say no but the answer is yes. Sorry to sound so negative but we all are having problems, husbands out of work here in the US and wifes too but we are suppose to make do anyway. So that is my statement. Now, I will go out and pay the price also. |
I just feel like this is another cut back for me. It is getting to the point where I can't afford a hobby. That is sad. I do have a nice sized stash so I am lucky, but I am not going to help the economy when I can't afford to buy fabric. This is just so sad no matter how you look at it. I wish the USA would bring the work back here. There are so many old sewing factories in my area that just sit. I doubt the prices will ever go back down or the work come back here.
