I have a relative who is in a different bracket than we are, so to speak. I remember, once, we ordered take out pizza and the tip this relative gave the delivery man blew DH and my minds. (We talked about it, later). So money is relative. If this woman keeps calling the quilt artist up to thank her for making it, it sure sounds like she doesn't regret her purchase and that she'll value it.

This is amazing stuff. I can't even dream of one of my quilts ever being worth that much money. It is one beautiful quilt! Thanks to whoever shared this story.

I could look at this quilt all day long...Think of your salary and how much you would make with 3,000 hours worth of excellent work.
