Yummy!! And Rhonda -- I'm a choco too. Try drizzling chocolate over the banana cake or bread. Just melt some chocolate frosting in the microwave until it'll drizzle. |
I'll have to try that. My husband is handicapped and had "forgotten" he was cooking and caught the stove on fire a couple of times( in the past) when he got distracted so I buy a lot of easy stuff for him to put in the microwave.
I came across these Betty Crocker Warm Delights and they are good! They are very rich in Chocolate - fudgy and warm They work for my cravings! and as I am diabetic I can make one and try!!! to just eat half at a time so not too many carbs at one go but they aren't too bad My 8 yr old autistic grandson wanted chocolate cake the other day and I had him make one of these and he was quite satisfied! Oh the real thing is bigger and better but these are quite good! I've always cooked from scratch and my daughter does too. I make a Sally Lunn bread that my family fight over. And my mom abkes french bread alot. Especially when it is cold but she does it all year round. Makes great toast!! |
One thing good about the small cakes in the microwave -- you won't have much leftover to eat later on. That's my weakness.
Sally Lunn bread. I hadn't thought of that in years and years. We made those all the time when I was a college student...YUM. |

gmolina and guehlein Send me a postal address by email [email protected] or a private message on the board here so I can send one to you. You can see my directions and projects on my free site and I have been contributing articles to the Quilted Paradise Newsletter. Thanks a bunch! |
Rhonda,
I have never tried miniatures before but with the instructions you have given us I was able to make one of the bookmarks in no time at all. I took a picture and will post it. Since you said pay it forward. I gave the bookmark to our guild president for all she does for everyone of us. I am also making one for two other special ladies in my guild who are going to the Paducah Quilt show. They were talking about how nice one would be to put on all their quilt show pins. Thanks, Angie |

Thanks, Angie I wanted to share the technique and I am delighted to have it passed on to other quilters this way!! I think the methods are fantastic and can benefit a lot of quilters as well as spreading the beauty and love of quilting! That is what it is all about for me!! Yes if I make a little money along the way I won't turn it down but that is not my first priority!! I always say if I never sell anything again I will still be making my miniatuares and designing quilt things. I did it for 20 years before my stuff started selling and I will continue to feed the artistic part of my soul! I love it that you are sharing it like this!! It makes my day!! |
Rhonda, you are a true artist.
