You are all so great!!! Such great advice, neat tips...(the baggy bottom one cracked me up)! I'm plugging along, having to rethink some fabrics due to being "math-deficient". Once I get it done, I'll definitely share the picture...I might share it even before it's done, so watch out!

All of my seams are going the right way, but I just can't seem to get them all butted correctly. Could be because I've been sewing most of the day, so my visions probably a bit crazy....but is there a secret to these? I thought small would be good, maybe not so much.

Longish answer but hope it helps. Have read several hints re same and it always works for me.
Try placing both seams( pressed opposite of each other) between index finger and thumb. Gently rub finger and thumb back and forth on each other and the seams will usually nest right into themselves. Carefully place a pin and sew( initially using a longish stith length) and if seams are where you want, sew again with smaller stitches.

Thanks!

Oops! I just sat down at computer, dialed in and dove into what works for me then READ all the great suggestions from everyone else.......love the second block difference!

what a great job the re-do is and without pulling out more hair or maybe stitches should I have said. Keep at it , how wonderful it is, Cindy
