Has anyone made the 10 minute block using jelly rolls?? I have a ton of black/white/red and just wondered if anyone had a pic. Thanks

Not sure what you're referring to. The 10 minute block that I'm familiar with takes pieces a lot larger than a jelly roll.
Can you please give some more info? Thanks! |
The author of the book said she sewed jelly roll strips together to make it the size of the squares, then added 5th fabric a solid.

Sounds like fun!
Why don't you try making one and see how you like it? ... and you know the story .... please post and show it to us when you are done!! :) |
That would be cool. I think it would look neat with sewed strips.
|
I've seen a pic of one done that way and it was very nice. Go for it!
|
Could be fun too, in turning the stripes in different directions!
|
What a fun variation, thank you for sharing it with us :D:D:D
|
Seen it done!

I've seen them where the 4 'background' squares were pieced, but the center diamond was a single piece of fabric. Probably a good idea to keep the center a single piece so you don't have to deal with additional thicknesses in the seams
