101/2" Block

Our sewing club is making a community quilt. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance

You want one that is 10.5", meaning it finishes at 10" when it's sewn into the quilt? Quilter's Cache has a huge selection and they're arranged by size. Go here and scroll down until you see the 10" section. Hopefully you'll find something!

do you really mean a 10 1/2" Texas Star?
My searches all show a Lone Star type which is certainly not 10 1/2"
Or have I mis read it and it shold be a 101" with 2" diamonds. If this is the case then suggest you use Elearnor Burns Star block/book. Good directions.

If this is the case I believe it would a be a nightmare if many were working on a Texas Star as no two quilters (well rarely) piece the same.

If you want a star quilt you might consider Labyrinth. I have seen it mentioned here. However, it still is requires precision

Nancy Johnson-Srebro has a wonderful book called Stars by Magic and shows directions on making each block from 5" to 18 "....i love this book!!! Very easy to follow....uses squares and rectangles no cutting triangles or diamonds so no need to worry about bias edges!!!
