I did some machine quilting on my new machine today-first time. Only straight line and only a small quilt but I could definitely tell. I didn't even stress about getting the thing through the opening where normally, that is my #1 issue. I had the whole first line of quilting done before I realized it-normally I'm about 1/2 or 1/3 of the way and start doing the fluff and stuff. This time minimal fluffing and almost no stuffing!

Glad to hear it!! :D:D:D
I have wondered how some manage with the tiny throats that are way curved in? They have the same throat distance of mine 7", but that downward curved shape instead of a more squared one, really makes the throat area smaller... |

What kind of a machine did you get? How large is the opening? (I'm so tired of the stuffing and fluffing too!)

I have the new Jenamoe Horizon with 11" It is definitely worth the additional $$. So easy to move the quilt around, back and forth.
