Jan, your Floral Garden quilt is gorgeous! Can you share the pattern, or tell me where you got it? Looks like maybe 4" sqs with a 2" border and another 2" border around with the triangles on two corners of each layer. Is that right? I love scrappy, I love using up what I have, I just love what you have done in this quilt. It's beautiful and you are obviously quite an accomplished quilter/artist.

I love your quilts especially the kinda purple one. what pattern is it?? Have you had a chance to look into the scrap therapy clubs?? they work with all the scraps and you'd be surprised what you can make out of scraps or precut squares, etc.

thanks for sharing.

Have you considered a Cathederal Window? The squares would look great as the windows. Good luck from Ga. Mtns.

I'm working on a Grandmother's Flower Garden as we speak. I have a bunch of 2 1/2" squares cut so far, but need a ton more!

Check out the bloggers quilt festival at this site. Over a hundred quilts to look at and back track to its name, maker and usually the pattern.

I love the older unmatched quilts, They seem to tell a story. folks back then used what they had, couldn't afford lots of material, quilt was probably made for warmth. YOu have a beautiful quilt. I like how she actually did match (sort of) the every 2 solids and 2 prints match. yes I really like your quilt made so many years ago. :)

Jan really like your quilts, like how the hearts are in the corners of the bow tie one and your purple really stands out (nice)like your floral garden as well. nice job all the way around.. lots of hard work involved. :)

Your quilt is beautiful. Great Idea. Never thought of this for quick corners. Especially if you're doing a real scrappy quilt.
