I'm out because the fabric needs to be pre-washed. I don't pre-wash. I like the look of my quilts shrinking after quilting.

I too am a non-washer, but many people can't handle unwashed fabrics and I am sure that is the reason for prewashing. |

Not everyone (me!! is into the shrinky vintage look) and I never want to chance the color bleed. Color catchers will improve odds but don't guarantee no matter where you buy your fabric.

WOW - Hang in there quilters! I have been overcome with zucchinis and cucumbers the last few days and have the relishes on the shelves to prove it!
Smaller details to come - Here's a couple of big details (I wouldn't do anything as a swapper until I heard all the details though :) ) The swap will be for WASHED strips of fabric by the WIDTH of the fabric (usually 42-45"). Buying/using jelly rolls for this swap would NOT work. If you attempted to wash a 2 1/2" precut jelly roll strip, you'd end up cutting off lots of frayed ends thereby making the strip narrower than 2 1/2". KWIM I think the mailing date would be in middle September. Please continue to post your interest and your questions. When I get a chance to check the computer, I will answer. I'll try to get info to Admin this weekend. Thanks for your patience. I think I'll give away all future zucchini and cucumbers! LOL |
