My friend who I gave a trapunto applique cushion for Christmas told me that she put it in the local show and I got 2nd place. I did not know that she was doing it until I received the email for her this afternoon. It makes me proud to have achieved such an award. It was so unexpected. I wanted to share as I have seen many of our friends post their successes as well.

I have it here. I did post it when I first made it so did my friend. Hope you like it.

This is the second I made in 2 weeks for Christmas gifts. I have never done anything like this before. I was surprised that I got 2nd.

That pillow is beautiful. Congratulations on winning second place. Next time first!!! I'm sure you were surprised, and if you are anything like the rest of us you would not have entered it yourself. Your friend has a good eye for good workmanship.

Thank you everyone. Just the stippling took me 2 days to do as well as all that machine applique on top of it. I really wanted to do it for my friend. The cushion is 20 inches in an 18 inch cover making it puff out.
