I just sending out feelers to see if anyone would be interested in participating in a 3" novelty square swap after Christmas. The idea would be to swap 3" squares of various novelty fabrics with the idea of making either a Hide and Seek or I spy quilt. We could do it in alotments of 30 squares. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.

Would it be a fussy cut 3" square or just a 3" square with 'special' prints?

I like this idea. I haven't done any swaps but I would be very interested in a Christmas swap.

I think I might be interested in doing this after christmas.

I was thinking children's novelty prints, 3" squares with pictures in it, ie: cars, puppies, kittens, boats, bugs...you get the idea. We would start it in January 2011, 30 3" squares, or as many sets you wanted. 1 set = 30 3" squares.

This isn't meant as a Christmas swap...but rather a Children's novelty swap to be done in January 2011 if I get enough interested people.

Good point...however I have to put this on the back burner for awhile, I just had major shoulder surgery a week ago so I won't be up and running for abit. When I am able, I will run it by Patrice...I was really only looking to see if enough people were interested at this point, but thanks for the heads up.
