4 inch squares

I have almost a small tote full of 4 inch squares that someone gave me. I don't have a clue what to do with them. any suggestions for an easy block? Of course it would be a scrappy quilt. I thought about pinwheels.....any other thoughts?

I like pinwheels myself, but you could also do DP9.

I think I'd do a Disappearing Nine Patch, if it were me. Or, I have seem some beautiful quilts where they just used the blocks with sashing. You'll come up with just the right thing, I'm sure!

I agree a disappearing nine patch, especially if you have a fabric that you can use as the center block so it is the same in each finished block.

Personally I'd make half-square triangles of them and set them like this.

Well, fudge, sometimes they post, sometimes they don't.

I would try Jan in VA's idea. Very nice organized scrappy and minimal waste. Good luck!

Jan in VA that's a great way to use up all those scraps!

Triangles is a good idea. Or you could make 9 patch.
