Is the process the same as far as the repeats and you just cut squares instead of hexs?

I've seen some really cute 4 patch posey quilts and think I'd like to try that before I do an OBW.

yep, match four layers exactly, cut strips and then squares. then each set of sqs make different blocks by turning them differently. nice!

4 Patch Posies is easier and takes less fabric than OBW or Stack & Whack. It is a good one to start on and gives you amazing square designs. You need a fabric that has four repeats in it and depending on how far apart they are, it will determine how many and how large your finished squares will be. One of the nice features of the squares is that you have 4 possible ways(4 different corners) to put a block together.

As the others said, yes the same ... just that you are only layering 4 repeats, and not the six. Block size I kind of proportion according to the print size. Same general rules when it comes to fabric selection as tot what will work. Use your mirrors to help you get an idea as to what will look good.
