4th of July Quilt
Need some fabric help.
I am making a 4th of July quilt with block that look like the American Flag. I am going to boarder with white star fabric and now I don't know what do put on the back. I found some light blue firework fabric that was cute or cute red, white and blue hearts was cute too but I don't want it take away from the front. Any thoughts our ideas? |
i think either one will do. welcome to the quiltingboard

you can't see them both at the same time!!!, so it won't take away from the front--- if it's on the back! sounds great, can't wait to see it ! Welcome to the board!

Welcome from Northern California. As they can't see the back and the front at the same time I don't think it matters that much what you put on the back. They can always turn the runner over and have a different look. Then they would have two table runners in one. Would love to see a picture of the runner. BrendaK

Welcome to the board. I think that matching the quilting thread would be most important to me.

Welcome to the board from beautiful western NC! Basically, the backing is a second side, so as long as their is some continuity as to colors, I would think any you mentioned would be fine.
