60* triangle ruler
 
I have this ruler http://www.officesupply.com/craft-su...iCYxoCKg_w_wcB I want to make some scrappy table runners but only need 12 inches wide do I cut the triangle at 6 inches I know I'll need a 6 inch width of fabric thanks

You would need to cut your strips 6.5 inches to allow for the seam allowance.

Going to office supply house today and look at large protractor. see if less expensive way to go.
