I made 1 quilt in my early 30's and did not enjoy the process. When I quit my job at the age of 60, my husband bought me a Bernina embroidery machine and I started my new life as a quilter! LOVE,LOVE it now.

I started at 61, though I have always been a seamstress, swore I would never make a quilt because I wasn't patient enough. Guess I was wrong. I'm 63 now and just finished my 28th quilt. (Don't know why I started counting them, but I did. :) )

I also started when I was 60. I've always sewed and always wanted to do a Wedding Ring and now that I'm retired I'm going to do it after I get the release of my trigger finger on my right hand this time. Yeah for the 60's group. Sue
