I'm in the Rio Grande Valley too (Mission) we (The Red Hat Society and the sewing group) donate to the Abused Women's Shelter toys, shampoo, clothing both womens and children, utensils, linens etc. quilts, lap robes. The ladies look forward to donating. Good excuse for going to ROPA USADA

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE IN THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY. MY HUSBAND AND I VISITED THERE LAST WINTER AND ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING AY A 55 AND BETTER PARK. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO KNOW SOME QUILTERS THERE.
