If this boyfriend one that will be around for the long term, you could have a skeleton fabric as backing, quilt it with skeletons, or put a skeleton on the label.

Or forget the skeletons all together! What if they broke up and she see his skeletons all over your beautiful quilt? LOL

In answer to the skeletons..these are what the boyfriend likes, but, I told my sis regardless if they stay together or not, this is a quilt I am making for YOU, MY SISTER! She understands completely. She asked that I make a solid black back

You are right! No skeletons..if they break up she will have to look at a memory of him, that may not be so pleasant.
