i have quite a collection of the old time thin fabric. i was wondering how often or IF you use some of the old THIN fabric from the 60's & before? do you avoid it, use it w/ a foundation or by itself or not at all ??? OR other method?

I have used it but I used thin Muslin under it. Worked well.

I work with 1920's-1950's fabric alot. I tend not to use the "thin" fabric in quilts, BUT I will use them in wall hangings, they dont get any use, and you can toss them in the dryer to get the dust off of them.Using a muslin foundation is recomended even for a wall hanging tho. Have fun and good luck!
