I am handicapped so it is difficult for me to stand long enough to get a quilt cut out without a lot of pain and sitting down isn't very easy either THEREFORE I have been considering purchasing the AccuQuilt system. I am wondering if anyone had any input considering the system??? I know they are rather expensive by the time you get several of the cutting dies SSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO is it worth the money? Does it have all of the most used sizes and shapes one would use? Is there a less expensive place to purchase the unit and the extra dies? I saw one on e-bay with 25 dies, the carrier bag, the storage rack, and 4 cutting mats for $1146. Is this a buy or not? Would I be ahead just buying the dies one at a time as I need them? INPUT Please! Sue

The Go has helped me alot because I can't make an accurate 2 times in a row if my life depended on it. I suggest you go on AccuQuilt's site and see what they have. They offer to Go by itself or in a couple of different bundles. There you can check out the price and see what the different die's are and if it's worth your $ and if the die's are what you will use. The strip cutters are what everyone uses the most -- at least I do! Then you can compare it with the price you saw on ebay.

You can also do a search on here for the topics about the Accuquilt Go and join their group at Yahoo Groups. I'm sure you will gain enough info on the pros and cons.
I bought one, I love it but I only bought the dies that I was most interested in. I do not have a carrying case as I do not need one and the rack for the dies I do not use.
I love it.

If you go to www.allbrands.com you can buy the Accu Quilt, 3 dies, and the cutting mat for $249. Or, you can purchase the complete set of the Accu-quilt and EVERYTHING that comes with it including the carrying case for $999.00. They also have free shipping. I have purchased from they many times before and never had any problems with their items or service.
Hope this helps.

Check out nancysnotions.com as well. I just got mine from there this week. They have bundles and individual dies too, less expensive than the Accuquilt website.

I have been pricing it for a year and I this is the best package price I've seen. It includes all 3 strip cutters for 399.

Boy, I learned something new today and found many more places to order dies for my Accu-quilt. Thanks.

If you join Accuquilt's mail list, they're forever sending out promotions, price breaks, and free shipping deals for different stuff. Don't know about the Go model, but for the Studio model they have a lot of starter packages that contain commonly-used dies and the other supplies you need to get started. Spend some time picking out what you think you'll use.

We use our Studio model a lot for cutting different things we offer in our online shop, like pre-cut bindings for our kits, squares, charm squares, samples, etc and we've also done a few pre-cut kits.

Wouldn't be without it, it's easy to use and very accurate if you use it correctly.

Already joined and noticed all the neat projects there also. My printer is tired of printing quilt patterns.
