I am sure some of you have this and I really want to get one, however, my DH brought up a good question. I assume that there are blades in there to cut with? Do these dull quickly and how to you replace them if there are blades? How long have you had yours, and how much cutting have you done with it?

Thanks! in advance as your all so helpful everytime anyone has a question.

I have the Go, but never looked into that question. Why not go to Accuquilt.com. They have live help with tons of info.

The blades are in the dies....a cutting mat goes over the fabric which lies on the die.....and then you run it thru the press.

I have cut thousands of items with my accucut dies. Unless you abuse them (cutting sandpaper, wood etc.) they should last you a lifetime. The thing that you will need to replace is the cutting pad. If the die is not cutting thru, it's not the blade, it's the pad.

Ive had mine almost 3 years and I use certain dies ALOT.. It will take more than my lifetime to dull the blade....
