Get a new mat. The one that comes with the GO isn't too good.

I was told by a worker at Accuquilt when I was having the problem of having to still snip tons of threads that the die wasn't working right. She sent me a new one to replace the other one. You can take it back to the store you got it from and request a replacement one.
