Accuquilt Go

I got my Go last week. Love it. Got the hexy die and cut a whole lot for my GFG that is on my bucket list. Does Joann's ever have a sale on Go dies? I am going to buy another die in May. What is a good one to add. Are the strip cutters worth it? What is your favorite go to die. Thanks.

I can't imagine having the Go with only one die. LOL. I have about all of them except some of the applique shapes. Be sure and look on the website for the dies to try. They are dies that are not for sale in stores. I use the tumbler die a lot. I have all sizes of square, triangle, and diamond that I can cut for almost any quilt pattern. I have the 9" hex die and like to layer the hexes from the smaller hex die. I use 2 1/2" strip die a lot for bindings and sashing. I've been buying dies for over 6 years so when a new one is available it's the one I'll buy next.

yes, they do. I bought a HST die online from Joanns at 40% off and free shipping. Got a good deal on mats too, So i stocked up on a few.

When I find a great price on mats I buy 5 or more at one time. If the large mats are on sale, I cut them to size to fit the die blade for another die. You don't have to cover the die blades you aren't using.

I would look for something that you use a lot - if they have a hst in a size that you frequently use, also the tumbler is a great one to have.

yep, thats what i did.

Nancy's Notions often has good prices on dies and mats. Enjoy you GO! I couldn't live without mine. :)

I love mine. I'm building my dies and started with the basic shapes. I have not paid full price for any of them. Get the ones that you will need for your type of quilting. And yes the strip die is wonderful. I have the 2 1/2 die and have used it for bindings and 2 1/2 strips required for a lot of my piecing.

I use my strip cutters al the time for the 2 1/2 inch strips and love it.

Love my go , strip cutters are great!

Creatforless.com has dies and a bunch are on sale right now. I don't have a Go, but I do go to that website a lot and have noticed the dies on sale.

AccuQuiltGo is one of the best things to happen to a quilter....strip dies of different widths are my favorites. I just got a 4.5 strip die cutter...perfect for borders. I never pay the full price.

My Joannes does not honor the 40% coupon, and it is in the fine print of the coupon --good for you!
Sometimes they do go on sale, and really watch for a sale around the big holidays, July 4, etc.

I love mine. Use the strips, circles, autumn leaves, squares.
Pricey, but I do like my Accuquilt!

You can also get them on ebay.

But currently Joanne's online has 40% off on Accuquilt. Our local stores have the discount too.

Check out this place also for dies: http://store.quilting-warehouse.com/...accuquilt.html

JoAnns does periodically have sales on AccuQuilt products, but they also have a limited selection. Still, a great way to kick start your GO! dies and accessory collection. Quilt in a Day online also has a pretty good collection at a good price, plus they will periodically have sales throughout the year: http://www.quiltinaday.com/shoponline/accuquilt.asp and I Have a Notion has a few dies at a great price too, just do a search on AccuQuilt. http://ihavea-notion.com/store/item_...Ricky-Tims.htm

I was just at Joann's yesterday and the Accuquilt Go dies were all on sale - 40% off. Hurry over there!

Oh, and yes, the strip dies are worth it! You can not only cut 2.5" strips (perfectly); you can turn them 90 degrees, run them through the cutter a second time, and get 2.5" squares.
