I got one when I bought a new machine 5 or 6 years ago. Came from my LQS and they were having a special so I don't know what it would have cost by itself. I used it every time I sewed for several years. I had DH figure out how to lower my table so I wasn't reaching up to work on the nice wide work area. It worked great and the only problem I had was after about 3 years a leg broke and it was expensive to replace.

Last year (for Christmas) I got a sewing table and that's even better, but way more expensive.

I used an acrylic table for years before I got my Horn Quilter's Cabinet. Mine was by Sewsteady.

I have one for my Pfaffs. It was made for one, but fits the other OK. I love it.

Yes absolutely they are worth it. They are expensive, but they make such a difference. I take mine to classes and retreats. Well worth the money.

I have one called a P.E.T. and love it. It has legs that are adjustable, storage space inside the compartment. Can be used as a light table. Tried to find one for my friend recently and can't.But I would sure recommend the additional work space a table gives you. It is a real help!

my latedh made one for my machine out of 1/4"plywood,cut a closet rod for legs.it is 24"from the left of the machine & 19" across[deep] i covered it in contact paperwhich makes it really slick so don't need asilicone slider.it really works great ![& costs next to nothing}

I was really lucky to find an old desk that had a hole in it....yep my machine sits perfect in that hole...I had to adjust the height with a phone book but I only paid 15.00 for the desk...and have a lot of room the same height as my machine...I do have photo's on here some where...you would have to go to my list of things or something like that...:-) good luck in your decision...:-)
